If there's one thing Beulah Street Wharf has in its favour, it's the cracking view. Sitting straight opposite the Opera House, and offering a complete, unobstructed view of the Harbour Bridge, this charming little wharf is sure to be a draw for tourists who are visiting Sydney for the first time. While there are plenty of other more accessible options in the area, it might also be a good choice for groups who want to avoid crowds as Beulah Street is no longer a public ferry wharf. That said, if you're looking for accessibility or special facilities, we'd recommend the CBD wharfs available just across the Harbour Bridge in Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.

Getting to Beulah Street Wharf

It's worth noting that for non-residents, parking in Kirribilli might be a bit of a hassle. The nearest secure parking areas are a good 15-minute walk from Beulah Street wharf, and on-street parking is likely to be very limited. Please do bear that in mind when arranging for pick up and drop off from this wharf. You can still access the surrounding streets by car quite easily if you plan to do a quick drop off, however. Buses stop fairly close tho the wharf, with the 269 stopping just a couple of minutes' walk away and several other services having stops along Broughton Street. If you plan to come by water, there are no longer any public ferries that stop at Beulah Street Wharf, but you can grab a water taxi or get a ferry to nearby Jeffrey Street and make the 5-8 minute walk down to Beulah Street.

Local amenities

Beulah Street isn't too far from central Kirribilli, where you'll find liquor stores, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, but in the area immediately surrounding the wharf there are little-to-no amenities such as public toilets or convenience stores. For that reason, we'd recommend ensuring you have everything you need for your Sydney Harbour cruise before you arrive, to avoid delays and unnecessary stress.
