Chiswick Wharf is located in western Sydney Harbour, on the south bank of Parramatta River, and mainly serves the Chiswick neighbourhood. Choosing Chiswick Wharf for Your Cruise Pick Up

Chiswick Wharf recently underwent a significant upgrade as part of the NSW government's plan for improving accessibility and facilities at the main ferry wharfs on Sydney Harbour. As such, the wharf is now classified as "independent access" and has other new features such as secure bike racks and a designated Kiss & Ride drop off area. Chiswick Wharf is a popular pick up and drop off point for groups based on the south side of Parramatta River as it's the closest to a number of different neighbourhoods such as Abbottsford, Russell Lea and Croydon.

Getting to Chiswick Wharf

As it's a popular commuter ferry wharf, there are a number of bus routes that stop near or right next to Chiswick Wharf, including the 504 that comes from the CBD through neighbouring Balmain and the 415 that originates in the southern district of Croydon Park. Of course, you can grab a ferry (the F3 between Circular Quay-Parramatta, to be precise) or a water taxi if you're coming from even further afield. By car, the best bet is probably to arrange for a quick drop off, as all-day parking is pretty limited in the surrounding area. As we mentioned before, the wharf is accessible and has bike racks.

Local amenities

Although it's not exactly next door, there are plenty of shops and stores where you can pick up snacks or other last-minute cruise supplies in Five Dock. Nearer to the wharf, you have a liquor store within a minute's walk and a couple of small convenience stores about a 5 minute walk away on Blackwell Point Road.
