Meadowbank Wharf has been upgraded fairly recently and now has a covered gangway, Opal top-up points, a spacious waiting area on the steel pontoon and even bike racks and lockers. Getting to Meadowbank Wharf

As mentioned above, Meadowbank Wharf is quite central to a lot of western Sydney suburbs such as Melrose Park, Denistone and Ryde. For those arriving to the wharf by car, Meadowbank is located at the end of Bowden Street and is perfect for a quick drop-off. If you need to park, however, options are somewhat limited, with the nearest off-street parking available in Anderson Park, about a 10 minute walk from the wharf. The wharf is serviced by a couple of bus routes, such as the 518 that runs to the Macquarie University. You can also arrive by ferry, of course, via the F3 Parramatta to Circular Quay service. Bike racks and lockers are also available at Meadowbank Wharf.

As Meadowbank Wharf is one of the area's main ferry wharfs, there are plenty of convenience services and facilities nearby. Picking up last-minute supplies such as extra ice, food or drink, for example, is simply a case of taking a 2-minute stroll to Bay Drive where there are several liquor stores and supermarkets. Nearby, you'll also find some nice parkland areas like Memorial Park (which would be a great spot for the group to meet up), as well as some great little coffee shops where you can kill a bit of time before your cruise.
