It may seem a little bizarre seeing a giraffe gracing the Sydney skyline but that is exactly what you get at Taronga Zoo. The beautiful back drop of the harbour is changed from architectural masterpiece to wildlife wilderness in a flash. Situated on the shore of the harbour in the suburb of Mosman, it's one of Sydneys most well-known attractions. This award winning zoo cares for 4,000 animals from over 350 species, many of which are threatened - and has the best outlook of any zoo in the world. Taronga is a not-for-profit organisation supporting wildlife conservation.
